Cosmetics
Vital!!
- Eyeliner, kohl pencil or liquid. If you need to wear high-degree
glasses, either don't put on eyeliner, or try contact lenses. Don't just stick to black. There are also some types of kohl
that come in bottles, used a really long time ago. "Dump that mainstream pencil eyeliner".
- Some foundation. If you want to keep looking natural, forgo this.
- Lipgloss. To keep lips moist. Clear or colored, it's up to you.
- Lipstick. Try to find a rare shade or something, don't just use what others are using.
- Eyeshadow. Of some color, let's say black, or dark purple. For eyeshadow it's worth
the time to get a really never-seen-before shade. Comes in cream as well.
- Glitter perhaps ... basic glitter are usually silver glitter in eyeshadow pots. Now
there are also liquid, gel and roll-on glitter. You can also find those in gel tubes which contains shapes like stars.
Tools
To help along with putting on your makeup. Important!
- A packet of sponges. For application of makeup. No, not those green ones. These sponges
are pale-yellow in color and come in wedges. Resemble cheese.
- Cotton swabs. Those white ones with cotton ends. Also called q-tips.
- Makeup brushes of many sizes. Big, small, to help you out with application. Usually
you can get a small handy one that contains 2 different brushes, one eyebrow comb, one eyeshadow applicator and a lipbrush. at
places like Watsons or Guardian, but I can't gurarantee that they would be of good quality. Hair might fall out ... Those
high quality ones can cost up to US$50 though ....... Or ask your mom.
- Sharpener. You will regret if you overlook this ...
Skin Care
- Makeup remover. You know. Don't swallow.
- Cleanser. The name says it all.
- Toner. To help shrink pores, pretty important you know ...
- Lotion. All types for all sorts of problems.
Misc...
- Makeup case or anything to put your stuff in. Some really good cases have apartments
so that you can organize things, some even have mirrors. If you don't find the need to buy one, you can just buy a big
pencil case to store your stuff.
- Handy mirror. To help check if you have any smudges, how much lipstick have you left
on your S.O etc ...
- Tissues. Wipe tears, sweat, snot, or the strange black lipstick from yesterday night
on your neck.
- Lipbalm. For chapped lips or just protect your precious smackers from the cruel
sun.
- Suncreen? Get one with decent SPF as the sun is out to ruin your skin.
- Shades? Also find one with certain SPF. For your eyes only.
